So this one is going to be short and sweet...
I remember when I first moved to Baltimore, I would visit different places, try out random restaurants, and do what one might call "touristy" things. People would make snide remarks and comments like "Oh that's how we know you're not really from Baltimore", or "you're so new because nobody goes there!" I took it on the chin and kept doing me.
Fast forward a few years and now those same people are frequenting the same places they talked about me visiting.
The lesson to be learned is DO YOU! Do whatever makes YOU happy. Your idea of fun doesn't have to match anyone else's idea. The street called Popular can quickly become congested and boring. Travel down your own lane and be content. Do YOU!
