THEY EYES HAVE IT

Let's be honest, how many of us think about eye care? Most of us normally don't think about it until we see a decline in our vision and usually, it's a serious decline before we do anything about it. Did you know that depending on your age, you should have a comprehensive eye exam every one to two years? Eye exams can detect health issues such as diabetes, high blood pressure, cancer, and thyroid disorders.

I personally have #keratoconus, which a an eye disease that affects the cornea. If caught early, the disease can be corrected with special contact lenses or if severe, a cornea transplant could be needed. Unfortunately, I needed the transplant. Imagine me, the girl who loves to wear makeup, not being able to put any makeup on my eyes due to eye surgery, Trust me! It was no fun!

Eye exams are just as important as any other medical exam that we get and need on a regular basis. Your eyes tell a story. They are one of the first things people notice about you. Keep them safe. Keep them healthy. Refrain from rubbing them too much, be careful not to press to hard on them, and remember... BeYOUtifu!!!l
