YOUR Actions Require YOUR Responsibility!!!

So here we are...holiday travel is here! The airport is jammed pack. All flights are full. Needless to say, it’s BUSY, BUSY, BUSY!!! Now, common sense would tell you that holiday travel can be a bit hectic, so allow yourself more time. However, common sense is what most seem to lack lately. It isn’t even 8:00 am yet and you wouldn’t believe how many people have missed their flights. And the first thing they want to do is blame it on traffic, slow TSA lines, or not being able to find parking. But whose fault is that, really? Could these issues have been avoided had you given yourself more time? At what point do we hold ourselves accountable for our own actions?

We are currently living in a “woe is me” world. Everyone else is to blame for our failures and shortcomings. It’s never our fault. If things aren’t handed to us on a silver platter, we just can’t seem to get it. But why? What happened to hard work? You may be tired but if you have needs, wants, and goals, you best believe you are going to have to put in the work! Want a new house? Stop splurging on fast food and new clothes. Want a new job? Get off of the couch and start looking. Things not going as planned? Change them! Change your mindset. Change your perspective. And please stop letting the world cage you into the box of gimmie this and gimmie that! Don’t allow social media to falsify the lifestyle of the get rich quick schemes. Set some goals for yourself. Write out a plan! Look over it daily. Make yourself a checklist. Decide when it’s time to move forward with those goals/plans or when it’s time to regroup and start over. And let me just say this...NEVER BE ASHAMED TO START OVER!!! NEVER! Hold yourself accountable for your thoughts, your words, and your actions! Everything isn’t always someone else’s fault. Check yourself. It’s ok to do so! But then love yourself, promote yourself, and be proud of yourself. And always remember, beYOUtiful!
