This one is going to be short and sweet...
So you don't have to be a football fan or a Baltimore Ravens fan or even a Lamar Jackson fan to remember all of the hype that surrounded Lamar last year during his contract negotiations.
People talked so badly about this young man! (Especially "those" people). I heard people say he was trash, he wasn't a good football player, he didn't need to be in Baltimore, and even attacks on his personal character were being expressed. And the amount of people, including some so called fans, saying he wasn't worth what he was asking for was astounding!
Let's fast forward to today, Sunday, January 28, 2024, and Lamar, along with the Baltimore Ravens are the AFC CHAMPS and one game away from the Superbowl! And guess what! Now, those same naysayers LOVE Lamar! They are rooting for him to go all the way! Even fans of teams he beat are pulling for him. Those Chatty Charlies and Hating Helens now want him to get every dime he negotiated. Oh how tables have turned!
Wait for your worth! If you know what you deserve, wait for it! It's coming! Cause guess what, hate it or love it, the underdogs are on top!!!
